Capacity Building - Report Writing
Background
Yayasan Konservasi Alam Nusantara (YKAN), through its Marine Program (Program Kelautan), implements the Sustainable Fisheries (SF) strategy to strengthen community-based sustainable fisheries management in the Bird’s Head Seascape (BHS) and Teon, Nila, and Serua (TNS) regions. The success of this strategy relies heavily on the capacity of YKAN’s internal team to build effective collaboration with fishers, government agencies, and local communities. Therefore, the ability to produce well-structured, informative, and data-driven reports is essential to support documentation, stakeholder communication, and organizational learning.
Objectives
To strengthen YKAN’s internal team capacity in producing well-structured, data-driven, and analytical reports. It intended to enhance team members’ ability to communicate field activities and findings effectively to diverse stakeholders. Ultimately, the training aimed to support the Sustainable Fisheries program by improving the quality of reporting for evidence-based decision-making and sustainable fisheries management.
