Background
Through the BESTARI Project, WCS and YABI aim to conserve highly threatened tropical rainforest TNBBS as priority habitat for critically endangered species and carbon sink through innovative management concepts and sustainable land use management. As the project nearly comes to an end, it is necessary to conduct an evaluation of the final progress of the project. The approach used in the project is theory-based evaluation. Consultant team use quantitative (120 respondents survey) and qualitative method (20 respondents interview).
Objectives
The purposes of the end-of-project review (EPR) are to learn and to enhance the project’s accountability, credibility, and transparency. The results of the EPR are expected to provide recommendations for accelerating the final year and key lessons learned and best practices as a form of contribution to protect endangered animal habitats in the TNBBS area.
