Background
The WASH Financing for Universal Coverage (FinWASH4UC) project aims to improve WASH governance and financing systems to achieve universal WASH coverage goals. This is in line with WVI’s major goal to contribute to achieving the SDG 6 target by 2030.
Objectives
The assessment is aimed to understand how the government (national, province, district, sub-district, villages) develops budgets for UC. It will start with the review of financing regulations and WASH-related regulations/policies and the existing mechanism applied in the government, then followed by the identifcation of financial needs for reaching universal coverage.
