Monitoring & Evaluation

Background

In 2021, The Island Foundation (TIF) launched
a five-year strategy featuring the Learning
for Sustainability program, structured around
Learning Centres, Local Teacher Training,
and Community Engagement. This program
operates in Bintan and Lingga Regencies,
Riau Islands, Indonesia, collaborating with
educational and community stakeholders.

Objectives

To assess the effectiveness, accuracy,
transparency, and reliability of the existing
monitoring and evaluation framework. This
assessment is also expected to capture
lessons learned and evaluate the program’s
design, implementation status, and capacity
to achieve its expected results in line with
the theory of change.
